I hope that you and your family had a fantastic Thanksgiving break. We are so thankful for our families that have shown such great support for our wonderful school through the countless hours of volunteering all the way to the money raised at Friends of Creekside. We, as a PTO, are so thankful for you!

Looking forward, the Holiday season is upon and it always goes by so quickly! We have some amazing things planned for our students and can't wait to celebrate the holidays.

Let's Party!

We have some exciting Winter Party plan news! We understand that the holidays are a busy time of year, so a plan has been developed to create an easy, super fun, and streamlined holiday party of each grade level. The Winter Party takes place on the HALF DAY of school right before the Holiday Break, Wednesday December 20th. This year, each grade will get an outside party complete with inflatables, a photo booth with a fun photo keepsake, and a hot cocoa bar with all the fixings. BUT, we need your help! In lieu of asking parents to send treats and traditional party items, we are asking for a monetary contribution of $10 (or whatever you would normally spend on party supplies) to your child's grade level LEAD Room Parents. Any questions can be directed to roomparent@cfespto.org

Please note: If you haven't completed the TISD Volunteer Form, you must do so to participate in parties.

The Gift of Giving

Don't forget, the deadline for joining Gift Crowds for teachers & staff is 12/19 at 9:00 p.m. This is always a popular option for showing your appreciation to teachers and staff. Families can contribute to a gift card pool for each member of the CFES staff, by clicking here and follow these simple steps:

Click "Join" next to the teacher or staff member you wish to give to.
Enter your name or your child's name as you'd like it to be displayed to your teacher.
Enter your contribution amount of choice ($5 or more) and click "Add to Cart".
Repeat the process for all teachers and staff you wish to give to.
Enter your payment information and click on "Checkout" to complete your transaction.
NOTE: The amount you donated will not be displayed to the recipient, just your name and any message you included.

Volunteer Forms

To volunteer or participate in any on-campus activities, complete a TISD Volunteer Form. A new form must be completed each year. Take time now to fill out yours!

Whether you have an hour each month, or a few hours each week, we have volunteer opportunities for you!

Community: Assist in annual community events, such as Walk to School Day and Earth Day Green Up.

Hospitality: Help monthly with set up, clean up, decorations, and donations for events to show our wonderful teachers and staff just how much they are appreciated.

Teacher Support: Help with simple tasks such as cutting or assembling packets, freeing up our teachers' time to bring creative projects and ideas to our children's learning experience. This easy opportunity requires no regular commitment. Feel free to join other volunteers in the Activity Room any Friday afternoon between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Photographer: Assist the Photography chair by taking pictures at events throughout the year.

Fence Cups: Design and change out fence cups located on the fence on the perimeter of the school.

General: Sign up for our email “shout out” list to help when possible throughout the year.

It's easy to volunteer. Step 1) Complete the TISD Volunteer Application Form. Step 2) Complete the CFES Volunteer Form.
