Friends of Creekside

Remember, you only have a few more days to donate to Friends of Creekside! The campaign runs through this Friday, 10/28. Your gift will make it possible for CFES to continue to go above and beyond for our kids with online educational tools, field trips, on-campus clubs, and so much more! All of the things that help make CFES one of Texas' top elementary schools.

Did you know that many businesses offer a matching gift program for their employees? Your employer can multiply your donation to CFES, making your gift go even further.

Simple Steps for Corporate Matching

Contact your employer's HR or Community GIving Department for information regarding matching gifts. Most companies have much of this information on their intranet.
Make your donation to CFES!
Complete and submit your employer's matching gift paperwork (this is usually a short, simple, electronic process).
Your company will contact our CFES PTO Treasurer to transfer the matching funds.

Volunteer Forms

To volunteer or participate in any on-campus activities, complete a TISD Volunteer Form. A new form must be completed each year. Take time now to fill out yours!

Whether you have an hour each month, or a few hours each week, we have volunteer opportunities for you!

Community: Assist in annual community events, such as Walk to School Day and Earth Day Green Up.

Hospitality: Help monthly with set up, clean up, decorations, and donations for events to show our wonderful teachers and staff just how much they are appreciated.

Teacher Support: Help with simple tasks such as cutting or assembling packets, freeing up our teachers' time to bring creative projects and ideas to our children's learning experience. This easy opportunity requires no regular commitment. Feel free to join other volunteers in the Activity Room any Friday afternoon between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Photographer: Assist the Photography chair by taking pictures at events throughout the year.

Fence Cups: Design and change out fence cups located on the fence on the perimeter of the school.

General: Sign up for our email “shout out” list to help when possible throughout the year.

Get Your Yearbooks!

The CFES yearbook is something that every student looks forward to all year long. They love reliving special moments from the school year and letting their classmates sign it in May. This year our PTO has switched Yearbook providers and will be working with Treering. We are very excited about all of the fun and unique features that Treering offers. We are also pleased to announce that all Fifth-Grade dedications will be FREE this year! More information on creating your Fifth Grader's dedication will come at a later date.

As president Amy oversees and coordinates all of our PTO activities and collaborates with our school leadership to ensure the PTO supports CFES teachers and staff. Amy is mom to Henry (4^th), Hudson (3^rd), and Harrison (4 years old).

Natascha Vogel, Vice President

Natascha assists Amy in her activities and oversees all aspects of our Fall and Spring fundraisers (Friends of Creekside and Creekfest) in collaboration with the fundraiser chairs. Natascha is mom to Gavin (5^th) and Gillean (Kinder).

Kristen maintains our PTO records, including our meeting minutes, and maintains records of meeting votes. Kristen is mom to Cate (6^th at CPJH), Allison (4^th), and Grace (Kinder).

Liz Mixon, Treasurer

As Treasurer, Liz works with Amy to develop and monitor our PTO budget, acts as the custodian of our PTO funds and performs all of our PTO banking activities. Liz is mom to Sara (4^th), Jana (2^nd), Jacob (Kinder), Leah (2 years old), and Ella (3 months old).
